Online Learning Date:
Enrolment: Monday 9th September 2024

On your enrolment date you will be enrolled onto our e-learning portal, this is the date your manual will also be posted out. The online aspect of your learning is to be completed in your own time, but before attending your face to face training days. Please be aware the online learning will take approximately 8-12 hours to complete.

Upon online enrolment you will be sent, by post, the course training manuals. These resources must be brought on all face to face training days. You will also receive an email with an enrolment key (password) to access the online training portal. A minimum of 8 to 12 hours will be required to carry out online work, which include reading manuals, watching PPTs and completing online tasks. Timelines for completion will be set and must be adhered to. Please note that completion of all online tasks is mandatory and form part of the assessment requirements. Please check that you are able to meet the requirements of the blended learning approach with regard to access to suitable internet connections and software requirements. The minimum browser version that can be used is: Google Chrome (30+), Mozilla Firefox (25+) and Safari 6. We recommend that work is not carried out on a tablet or smartphone. LLT tutors will monitor and support completion of these tasks.

All face to face course days will run from 8.55am to 17.15pm.

Please meet inside the venue
Free on-site parking is available at the venue. Alternative on street parking available behind community centre, free of charge.
Please bring a packed lunch, alternatively there's a local store behind the community centre. Tea and coffee will be provided.

There will be no sharing of resources on the day so please remember to bring all resources that you have received from us. The course host will be supplying all host candidates with a pair of weights to use during the course, if you are an external candidate please remember and bring your own pair of ankle weights for your use during the course. Your tutor will not have any spares to offer you on the day.

You will need to bring writing material and paper for any additional note taking and you are advised to wear warm, comfortable exercise clothing and trainers.
