CIMSPA information, policy and guidance (in relation to REPs)
RoSPA – the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents offer a one day training course on home safety assessment and intervention. The risk of accidental injury in the home increases with age. Home accidents can lead to unnecessary pain and suffering and ultimately to increased dependency, yet so many of these accidents are preventable. This one day course is accredited by City & Guilds and there is an optional assessment available for those delegates seeking accreditation from a nationally recognised awarding body. For candidates in England and Wales, a one hour exam can be taken in Autumn or Spring each year. For those in Northern Ireland separate arrangements apply. For further information click here.
